Spicy Shrimp Curry
One skillet, and it’s dinner! Impress your guests with an attractive dish of Spicy Shrimp Curry.
This is an excellent, rich and savoury taste Spicy Shrimp Curry that’s perfect for every dinner time!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 medium white onion, diced
- 1 medium potato, cubed.
- ½ medium carrot, cubed.
- ½ medium jalapeno pepper, minced
- 1 pack of OTTOGI Curry Powder Hot
- 700ml cold water
- 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons chopped Thai basil
- 1 medium lime, cut into wedges
Directions
Step 1.
Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add onion, potato, carrot and jalapeno and cook until softened, 7 to 10 minutes. and reduce heat.
Step 2.
Dissolve the OTTOGI Curry Powder HOT in 700ml of cold water separately. Stir until it is completely dissolved and add to Step 1. Whisk together and bring to a gentle boil.
Step 3.
Pat shrimp dry and add to the sauce along with the cooked veggies. Allow curry to simmer gently, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are cooked through and opaque, 3 to 5 minutes. Top with Thai basil and serve with lime wedges. serve with OTTOGI Taste Cooked Rice.
