Korean Spicy Pork BBQ

  • 1 lb (450g) pork belly or pork shoulder, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Ottogi Korean Spicy BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Ottogi Korean Spicy BBQ Sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced pork to the marinade. Ensure that all the pork slices are coated evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight for even better flavor.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated pork and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the pork is cooked through and caramelized.
  5. Add the sliced onion to the skillet and continue stir-frying for an additional 2-3 minutes until the onion is tender.
  6. Garnish the Jeyuk with chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  7. Serve the delicious Jeyuk hot with steamed rice or as a filling for lettuce wraps.
