Made fresh from finely blended corn kernels, our Corn Cream Soup boasts many health benefits, being rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are well-known to promote eye health. Full of high-quality corn kernels, rich in flavour & nutrition, the Ottogi Corn Cream Soup features a soft creamy taste & texture that is ideal for all ages. Made from a fine blend of corn kernels, the soup has a sweet, flavourful profile that is rich in vitamins, minerals and boasts a good source of antioxidants that promote eye health.
Packaged conveniently, simply add 4 cups of water to 80g of Corn Cream Soup mix and bring to boil, remove from heat and stirring occasionally for 3 minutes. Packaged conveniently to suit, Ottogi Corn Cream Soup is an excellent source of protein. Creamy Corn Soup
- ½ onion chopped
- 2 ribs celery finely diced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 100g OTTOGI Corn Cream Soup
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ½ teaspoon thyme leaves fresh, or ¼ teaspoon of dried thyme.
- 2 cups corn kernels fresh, frozen, or canned
- 1 large potato peeled and ½” diced
- 3 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 cup light cream or milk
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt & pepper each
- ½ teaspoon sliced chives for garnish
- Combine onion, celery, butter, and garlic in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until onion softens, about 4 minutes.
- Add flour and thyme. Cook 1 minute more. Stir in corn and potatoes.
- Add Ottogi Cream Corn Soup, broth, cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer 15-20 minutes uncovered or until potatoes are tender.
- Garnish with chives and serve warm.
Direction: (1) Mix 80g of Cream Soup Mix and 800ml of cold water in a pot and stir well. (2) Heat the pot and stir well until boiling
(3) Once boiling, lower the heat and boil for an additional 3 minutes.
