Combined with the word “bokki”, which means “stir fried”, Ottogi Jjajang-bokki are a perfect example of the traditional flavours of the popular black bean, brothless noodle bowl.

 

 

Featuring chewy noodles that go perfectly with the well-loved thick, tasty black bean flavouring, enjoy the richer and more savoury taste of jjajang-bokki.

 

 

Experience the richer and more savoury taste of jjajang-bokki’s rich, black bean sauce, chewy noodles. Providing convenient puncture holes to drain out the water once boiled, the noodles are quick and simple to cook and ideal for all ages.

 

Jjajangbokki Ramen with pork

  • 1 OTTOGI Jjajangbokki Ramen bowl
  • 100g sliced beef
  • Chopped green onion, corn for garnish

  1. Fill the Jjajangbokki Ramen bowl to the line with boiling water.
  2. When the noodles are all cooked, drain all the water.
  3. In a frying pan, cook the sliced beef to preference and set aside.
  4. Punchure several holes as indicated on lid, once noodles are soft, drain water through the holes leaving 4 spoons of water.
  5. Add powder soup, cooked beef and mix well to serve.
  6. Finish by garnishing with chopped green onion and corn
