The popularity of Korean barbecue has been ingrained into Korean culture from the love of pre-seasoned meats. Thought to have originated by a nomadic group called Maek in central Asia, Korean BBQ soon emerged, enhancing the BBQ culture with rich and sweet flavours.

Cheese and BBQ pasta
- 3 cups rotini pasta 8 ounces
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ onion diced
- ½ teaspoon seasoning salt
- 10 ¾ ounces condensed cheese soup
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded & divided
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup OTTOGI Original BBQ sauce + 2 tablespoons, divided
- 14 ounces petite diced tomatoes drained
- 1 teaspoon steak spice
- 1Â teaspoon Ottogi’s Sesame Seeds
- 2 tablespoons bacon bits

Heat oven to 425°F.

Cook pasta al dente according to package directions.

Meanwhile, brown onion in the ground beef until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in seasoned salt.

In a large bowl combine pasta, beef mixture, soup, milk, 2 cups cheese, mustard, Worcestershire, ¼ cup OTTOGI Original BBQ Sauce, diced tomatoes, & steak spice.

Spread into a 9×13 casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese, Ottogi’s sesame seeds, bacon bits, and drizzle with remaining BBQ sauce.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Directions:
- Slice Fresh meat (Beef/Pork/Chicken/Lamb) into small thin pieces.
- Mix with marinade and leave for 30minutes. Use a 5:1 ratio between the meat and marinade)
- Add a variety of vegetables of your choice, such as onions, spring onions and mushrooms.
- Grill or broil for about 4-8 minutes or stir-fry in an ungreased pan for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve
