As an excellent source of vitamins, minerals and fibre antioxidants, Green Plums also offer several characteristics that may reduce the risk of many chronic diseases.
Known in Korea as “Maesil-cha”, Ottogi Plum Tea can be one of the best ways of benefiting from Green Plum and is an excellent example of an ingredient that is embraced for more than just its flavour. Rich in vitamin C, enjoy the floral-fruity aroma of Ottogi’s Plum Tea Marmalade hot, or cold as a spread, dessert topping or tea.
Korean Maesil-cha (Green Plum Tea)
- 1-2 Table Spoons of OTTOGI Green Plum Tea
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 1 cup very warm water
1. Dissolve one spoonful of Ottogi Green Plum Tea into warm/ hot water.
2. Add 2 teaspoons of honey
3. Stir frequently and wait until water cools down.
Directions: Take 3-4 tsp. (25g) with 80 ml hot or cold water and stir well. May also be used as marmalade.
