Gomtang (Beef Bone Soup)
- 1 pack OTTOGI Beef Bone Stock Ready Meals
- 2 pounds beef brisket
- 5 to 6 garlic cloves
- 4 scallions, chopped
- Sea salt, to taste
- OTTOGI Black Pepper Powder, to taste
- OTTOGI Tasted Cooked Rice, for serving
- Smash and chop the garlic finely.
- Add the Ottogi Beef Bone Stock and garlic to a pot and bring to a boil.
- Boil (not simmer) over medium-high heat, with constant medium-size bubbles for 5 minutes.
- Add the brisket and cook for 20 minutes, until meat is soft & cooked. Add more boiling water when the liquid level in the pot drops.
- Hand-shred the brisket into chunks and chop scallions for garnish.
- Ladle the soup into a bowl. Top with shredded brisket and scallions. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with Ottogi’s Tasty Cooked Rice.
