Gomtang (Beef Bone Soup)

  1. Smash and chop the garlic finely.
  2. Add the Ottogi Beef Bone Stock and garlic to a pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Boil (not simmer) over medium-high heat, with constant medium-size bubbles for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the brisket and cook for 20 minutes, until meat is soft & cooked. Add more boiling water when the liquid level in the pot drops.
  5. Hand-shred the brisket into chunks and chop scallions for garnish.
  6. Ladle the soup into a bowl. Top with shredded brisket and scallions. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve with Ottogi’s Tasty Cooked Rice.
