Beef Bulgogi

  • 1 lb (450g) thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1/2 cup Ottogi Bulgogi Sauce
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for cooking)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Lettuce leaves, for wrapping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place the thinly sliced beef in a bowl.
  2. Pour Ottogi Bulgogi Sauce over the beef, ensuring that each slice is coated evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight for enhanced flavor.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated beef to the skillet, reserving any excess marinade for later use. Cook the beef for about 3-4 minutes per side until it’s cooked through and nicely browned.
  5. While the beef is cooking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for a few minutes to ensure it’s heated thoroughly.
  6. Once the beef is cooked, transfer it to a serving plate.
  7. Drizzle some of the heated marinade over the cooked beef for added flavor.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  9. Serve the delicious Bulgogi with steamed rice and lettuce leaves for wrapping, if desired.
