Noodles have been a staple diet for many asian and western cultures. Made fresh in our South Korean HQ and imported to our Takanini plant, in addition to our other products, we’ve focussed on providing the best high quality ramen to not only Koreans living in New Zealand, but also the local market.
Combining authentic flavours with traditional ingredients, OTTOGI Yeul Ramen’s spicy broth and premium thick noodles is great example of Korean taste that never fails to satisfy. Feel the heat of OTTOGI Yeul Ramen with a mix of quality vegetables, premium thick chewy noodles and a rich, spicy red pepper beef broth with the ultimate ramen.
With finely chopped vegetables including Chinese Cabbage, Green Onion, Carrot, Mushroom, Red Pepper, OTTOGI Yeul Ramen is conveniently packaged with a generous portion size. Easy to prepare, simply place into a boiling water and add sachet powder to enjoy a quick spicy meal.
OTTOGI Yeul Ramen with Vegetables
- 1 tablespoon OTTOGI Sesame Oil
- 3 teaspoons grated ginger
- 4 teaspoons grated garlic
- 4 cups water
- 1 ounce dried shiitake mushrooms
- 2 packages OTTOGI Yeul Ramen.
- 1/2 cup chopped scallions or chives
- 2 cup chopped kale
- 1 cups shredded carrots
- OTTOGI Panko Bread Crumbs for topping
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium low heat. Add the garlic and ginger; stir fry for 2 minutes or until soft and fragrant.
- Add the water. Bring to a simmer; add the mushrooms and simmer for 10 minutes or until the mushrooms have softened and the broth is flavorful.
- Add the OTTOGI Yeul Ramen noodle and sachet powder to the hot liquid and simmer for an additional 4 minutes or until the noodles have softened. Add the scallions and stir to combine.
- Remove from heat, stir in the kale and carrots, and top with crunchy panko crumbs (see notes) and a soft-boiled egg (optional).
Direction:
(1) Put the vegetable mix in a pot of 500ml water and boil.
(2) Add the noodles and soup mix and simmer for an additional 4 minutes. (3) Turn off the heat and add sliced green onion, kimchi, and egg as desired.

Noodles (88%): Wheat Flour, Modified Starch(1420), Palm Oil, Potato Starch, Wheat Gluten, Salt, Acidity Regulators (501, 452), Yeast Extract, Thickener (412), Colour (101).
Soup Mix: Soy Sauce Powder (Soybean, Wheat, Salt), Salt, Red Pepper, Sugar, Flavour Enhancers (621, 631, 627), Glucose, Yeast Extract Powder, Garlic Powder, Soybean Paste Powder (Salt, Soy Sauce, Scallop), Kelp Extract Powder (Kelp, Salt, Oyster), Chilli Extract, Black Pepper, Green Chilli Pepper. Dehydrated Vegetable Mix: Chinese Cabbage, Green Onion, Carrot, Mushroom Flake, Red Pepper.
